MX Movies opened in January 2013 in the Mercantile Exchange District. Located directly across the street from the National Blues Museum and one block east of the Convention Center. MX Movies is a three-screen digital projection theatre with luxury, stadium seating bringing quality entertainment to the MX District. The generous and comfortable seating have swivel tables and liftable armrests to allow you to combine or draw the line!
MX Movies features a full bar and lounge, hot fresh popcorn, kitchen items like pizza, toasted ravioli, hot dogs, soft pretzels, and nachos. We offer many different traditional movie theater candies and packaged items. Our bar is stocked to the brim with your favorite cocktail mixers and alcholic beverages. We feature local brews from 4 Hands Brewing, Urban Chestnut, and Schlafly.
Parking validations for the 6th and 7th street garage are available to purchase for a mere $1.00 for customers entering the garage after 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Validations are redeemable for up to 4 hours and have no cash value. We will post notices on website and social media with alternate options.
*On rare occasions, blackout dates for special events are enacted for garage parking.
7th Street Garage: The entrance for the 7th Street Garage is located on 7th street between Washington and Locust. The entrance to MX Movies from this garage is located on the second floor.
6th Street Garage: The entrance to the 6th Street Garage is located off of Washington Ave and 6th Street.
Meter parking is available on Locust between 5th and 8th streets. Meters are $1.50 an hour and free after 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday and all-day Sundays. Many are credit card payment ready.
We are steps away from the MetroLink Convention Center station. Just walk right into our Washington street level entrance under the MX Movies Marquee.
